I cant forward emails. I dont get the option to do "inline text" or "attachment". When I try to forward I get an error message that says "Not sure why, but our usually-reliable server goofed-up while sending this message. Please try again."--- How do I fix this?
Problems forwarding email?
I found this out in yahoo questions:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=2...
Also, just for kicks, try using this skeleton version of your mail to see if you can forward that way. http://us.m.yahoo.com/. (it's not fancy, but you can get your mail when the yahoo server is down %26amp; it's a way to trouble shoot your forwarding issue) :)
Reply:Sounds like you are using the new mail, click switch to Mail Classic at the top of your mail screen, or use one of these links and click yes to opt out: http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s http://uk.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s Or use this if those won't work: http://ymailupdates.com/blog/?p=76

Is it possible for me to automatically forward email from one Yahoo address to another Yahoo address?
Keep two windows open on your computer. Use one log-in on one...and the other on the other...and toggle between the two....
Log into one....then minimize. Then reopen your browser again...and log in using the other account. The two tabs will appear on the task bar at the bottom...
Reply:Go to the "my account" link at the top of the page and after entering your password, you can edit the email information that's on your accounts.
Reply:yes they will give you instructions to make that change. i am tired of that too tho.

When forwarding email on Yahoo, why can't I do plain text & graphics w/out always changing the settings?
In Gen. Opts, I have to constantly change from plain text to color/graphics for writing/forwarding emails. Why can't I always have both available w/out making the changes?

Reply:You may get many answers, but to be very realistic you can't do that.
Reply:You can create an offline folder in the old account on your hard drive, then point the message store in the new account to the same offline folder. But you have to move all your old emails into the offline folder.

I would like to use an my personal email to forward out 75 email addresses?
Use the BCC field. No one but you can see it. Put your address in the TO field. Click on "Show BCC" to open the field.
Note that Yahoo allows 100 addresses but not more than 50 can be to the same domain.

Is there any safe freeware or shareware program that will clean the >> marks in forwarded email?
Sometimes there are four or more of these marks before each sentence. I hate to forward email that way. It's hard to read. I once had a program on my old computer that eliminated them, but can't remember the name. Can any of you guys help me out? Thanks.
Is there any safe freeware or shareware program that will clean the %26gt;%26gt; marks in forwarded email?
Yes try emailstripper

I don't know which email client you use,but in Thunderbird you can edit them out
Reply:You can use the linux utility "sed"
Reply:I agree I hate it when I get a page full of %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;
I use Clipmate to remove them before I forward them but it isn't free. It is a clipboard program that has a "clean up text" option.
If you want to learn about it go here - http://www.thornsoft.com/
Reply:never heard of dat.
Reply:No need to download any shareware or freeware program to do this.
Simply copy and paste the text with the %26gt;%26gt; characters into a blank page in Microsoft's WordPad program. This is available by clicking on "Start", then slide up to "Programs", Slide to "Accessories", and then left click on Wordpad.
Once you've pasted the text into that wordpad page, go up to where it says Edit, and then click on "Replace". Where it says, "Find What", type in one %26gt; symbol. Leave the rest of the choices alone, and just click on "Replace All". That'll get rid of all the occurences of the %26gt; symbol in the text. Now you can do with that text whatever you wish. Good luck.
